IPv4 Multicast cheat sheetPosted by stretch in Announcements on Monday, 9 Jun 2008 at 9:32 a.m. GMTI've just posted my latest cheat sheet, on IPv4 multicast. As always, please let me know if you spot an error. I had originally titled this sheet simply "Multicast," but I think we're at (or past) the point where IPv4 and IPv6 should be considered on level ground. For my entire career, there's always been a sense of IP and "new" IP that you'll use some day. But IPv6 has grown far enough into the mainstream that a bilateral distinction is deserved; "IP" can no longer be assumed to reference the legacy protocol alone. And speaking of IPv6, it will likely be my next topic for a cheat sheet, so keep an eye out. |

Congratulations!
Soooooo awesome.! Every single one of your cheat sheets is amazing.!
PIM-SM and PIM-DM details should be added SM being a shared based tree (*,g), DM being a source base tree (s,g)... I think I got that right.
